    Hello,

I’m a teacher in New Orleans, and I am interested in volunteering in either the gardens or the market. I saw that you can sign up for shifts, but I also wondering if it might be possible to volunteer in 1-2 shifts during the evening on weekdays. I live relatively close to the Market and would love to help out in anyway. Shorter volunteer shifts would be better for my schedule. Thanks for your time and help.

Hello! We can probably work something out where you do a shorter shift in the market- I would call in on a day that you’re interested in doing it and see if we need an extra set of hands, just make sure and let them know your timing. If you would rather work in the garden, you can email Amber Dawn (her email is on the volunteer page)- she is a teacher as well and often comes to Hollygrove in the evening.
